Wayne Hoffman was raised by his single mother in Reading, Pennsylvania. At a young age Wayne’s mother gave him a magic set and this sparked Wayne’s lifelong passion. Even though only starting his craft at the age of seven Wayne was performing professionally by the age of fifteen, and by the age of eighteen Wayne was touring the US performing his show “Mind Candy”. Wayne pursued college after high school but soon found himself bored of standard studies. After a tragic death of a loved one, Wayne developed a new view of life and decided to leave college and pursue his dream. Through extensive self studies in sociology, psychology, and human behavior Wayne was able to develop the foundation of his skills today. Wayne now travels the world performing and speaking for some of the most exclusive events and tops corporations in the world. Wayne regularly tours the world sharing his presentations involving body language, human behavior, and understanding the human mind.  Wayne continues to be acknowledged as one of the top speakers in his field and was ranked as one of the top ten mentalists in the world.
One of the entertainment activity directors that hired Wayne put it perfectly by saying “our group have seen the best of the best. So when they stood up and gave you a standing ovation…that says something.”  Wayne Hoffman does not perform your standard show. In fact, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Wayne wants to provide a different form of entertainment, so he performs a show that is a unique blend of illusion and mind reading. He combines perceptual manipulation, psychological illusions and unparalleled sleight of hand, leaving his audience left questioning their sense of reality.
He was recently featured on NBC’s hit TV show “Phenomenon”, The Glenn Beck Show, TLC, Animal Planet on The Discovery Network, The Howard Stern Show, and The Ellen Degeneres Show. Wayne has performed for thousands of audiences in some of the most elite venues across the world and continues to be ranked one of the top ten entertainers in his field.  He recently performed at the Instyle Magazine party for top celebrities including Kim Kardashian and more. He also recently performed in the Hollywood hills for actress Anna Faris at her charity to help preserve coral reefs.
His two current shows, “Mind Candy”, and his theater show “Phenomenon”, are high-energy displays of magic and psychological stunts.  Wayne’s stage presence reminds his audience of a down-to-earth friend who happens to be able to read minds.  His loose style and highly interactive show give a fresh approach to magic and mentalism. Wayne is currently authoring his first motivational book entitled “Mind Candy”, as well as his own clothing and jewelry line under the same name.
